Annapurna Mountain
Annapurna is part of the Himalayas in north-central Nepal.
Height: The main peak, Annapurna I, is 8,091 meters (26,545 feet) tall, making it the 10th highest mountain in the world.
Annapurna Massif: “Annapurna” isn’t just one mountain — it’s a massif, a group of peaks. Annapurna I is the tallest, but there are several others like Annapurna II, III, and IV, plus smaller peaks like Gangapurna and Annapurna South.
Symbol of Generosity: Annapurna teaches a core spiritual lesson: true abundance comes from giving. She reminds people that the universe provides for us when we live in gratitude and generosity. On a deeper level, the Annapurna massif itself, standing high and vast, is seen as the Earth’s symbol of infinite giving — offering rivers, fertile lands, snow, and life to the valleys below.
Annapurna is not just a natural wonder but also spiritually important in Nepalese culture, associated with the goddess Annapurna, who is believed to feed and sustain humanity.
